Nasal polyps are non-cancerous growths that occur as the nasal passage tissue becomes inflamed and irritated. They block the nasal passage when nasal polyps become irritated, which may result in breathing issues. They are soft and noncancerous, but they contribute to other bothersome health problems, some of which can become serious.

If the growth of your nasal polyp has lasted more than 12 weeks, then you can already consider that condition as chronic. So before things turn worse, it is best to consult a doctor regarding your concern. If the case of nasal polyps is more serious, then rhinoplasty surgery may be suggested.
